Shropshire Rights of way officer David Hardwick.Mr Hardwick is the area rights of way officer for central Shropshire and works with the maintenance team.†† Part of his job is working on the ground with volunteers, helping maintain paths.He had a copy of the definitive map and explained the different types of right of way on it.The health benefits of walking are being emphasised within Shropshire Council.There is a proposal to improve paths in the parish that link up with paths in Rushbury.Both for fitness and tourism.Rushbury has been identified as an area for action.Mr Hardwick is looking for advice on the best paths for healthy walking and tourism.If paths can be identified they can be surveyed and improved between now and April 2016.He is hoping volunteers and contractors will carry out the work.Shropshire Council will support the volunteers.

Mr David Pickard attended the meeting to explain the plans of the village hall to manage and maintain a defibrillator and box on the outside of the village hall.A box with a security code pad will be installed a group of volunteers will be trained to use the machine and be called by the ambulance service to attend the person who requires the machine.The village hall committee will manage the project completely.Clerk to add to the agenda for March meeting. ††††††††††††††††
