Saturday 30 July evening

Elizabeth I to visit Gretton

at The Court House, Gretton

We are planning a fundraising evening for Cardington Church on the evening of Sunday 30th July. The event will be held in a marquee at the Court House, Gretton, after a wedding there the previous day.

Lesley Smith, Curator at Tutbury Castle, will be appearing as Elizabeth I, talking about her reign and that period whilst in full costume. This is an awe inspiring performance that is likely to captivate anyone, whether you have an interest in history or not. The evening will be ticket only and food will be included in the price. Details will follow in next month’s magazine. This performance is not suitable for anyone 16 years and under. For more information contact Jim and Alison Norris on 01694 771219.
