SAMUEL BRIGHT ( No: 15603) was born at Gretton and was living there when he enlisted in Shrewsbury into the KSLI.

He served with the 5th Battalion and was killed in action on 22 March 1918 (it is not certain which battalion he was serving with at this time).

His death is commemorated on the Faubourg D'Amiens Memorial (Arras).
